What’s the position?
We are looking to hire a Regional Head of Sales in Munich, Germany as a member of our European sales management team to help deliver the company’s ambitious growth plans. We are on an exciting journey and are pursuing an ongoing sales transformation to build a leading sales force that enables us to achieve our long-term company vision to be the best in our business.
You will be responsible for driving sales and sales growth for a team of 8-10 travel sales specialists. The responsibilities of the role will include the following:
Actively managing and supporting a sales team of 8-10 team members to achieve their sales goals
Developing and coach existing team members on sales and analytical skills to enhance their performance
Conducting effective team meetings and sales blitzes to ensure high motivation and knowledge sharing between team members
Facilitating sharing of best practices within and across other sales teams
Setting goals and priorities for each team member in line with the company goals, track activities and team performance on daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly basis
What are we looking for?
A track record of successfully managing a sales team with excellent sales results in a Business to Customer (B2C) environment
Excellent analytical, planning, and organisational skills
University degree with a proven experience in a sales management position
Ability to be commercially orientated
Ability to motivate people to achieve great results
Comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment with ambiguity and agility
Can take personal accountability to make things happen and to ensure results
Highly flexible and resilient, can bounce back from setbacks and have a “positive” attitude to life
